Enlargement / Sink plug

Space and time - phenomena that many prominent thinkers, scientists, and philosophers from around the world have dealt with. Concepts that do not make sense without each other. In this project I tried to depict the transience of the landscape in relation to time. The perception of space is enhanced by the absurd scale of the enlargement/stopper.

The depiction of a seemingly inert situation (stopped in time) invites people to imagine what happened before the moment was captured. Looking at the sink plub people will probably imagine a situation that may have happened here – the drainage of large volumes of water that slowly flows into the sewer. Therefore, the time plot is not shown directly, instead it hangs in the air like a question mark and a question: Was there really water here that drained away? „How long was it flowing out? Who or what caused this event?”
