In late 2011, while working at SWA Architects, Gregg Stahr started design as lead architect on this custom home in La Grange, IL for a growing family of six. With a unique set of requirements, Gregg took the challenge of meeting each and every client need down to details of heat supply registers for heating towels and drying coats and gloves in the winter time. Gregg has also worked as green verifier for the NAHB Green Building Program to assist in the green certification of the home.
Custom Built-ins for a small office nook to be used as a daily planning desk and as a homework space for the children. Its location right off the open kitchen allows for a great space for the family computer as a semi private yet still adult monitored space.
