The goal for this project was to re-brand a professional soccer team badge to improve and display my graphic design ability in branding. I made the choice of Benevento Calcio out of a analysis article of the 21 worst club badges in world football by FourFourTwo. My first thought of the badge was that it needed to be more legible and extra decorative elements needed to be removed but still keep the historic look to the badge.
The team's colors are yellow and red, and their badge features red and yellow stripes and the black image of a witch riding a broom. Footballers of Benevento are known throughout Italy as the sorcerers, because the city is known for being the "Town of the witches" by way of religious rites pagans who worked in the Lombards along the river Saturday during their domination, seen by the local populations christian as true acts of witchcraft.
