Fan [FA] - a modern tabletop fan with adjustable speed and height control. This project was based around a challenge posted by CreativeSession [#blowingwithcs] to take on the simple task of resigning a desk fan.
The concept for FA was to approach the functionality and aesthetics of the product in an honest and minimalist direction. I wanted accentuate the materials (steel, concrete and marble) as they were juxtaposed next to a technical body (the fan head). After many iterations, the designs started to reveal two main features - solid base and the fan mechanism.
