 Brief
In Costa Rica it is becoming more and more common for San José residents who have vacationing in the countryside to bringback young wild animals in order to keep them in cages as pets. It was necesary to raise public awarness as to the harmful nature of this practice.

Execution
Mechanically activated silhouettes were built that imitated the real movements of various wild animals, when they are in captivity. At the same time, the public highway billboards were turned into cages within which these animals were installed. On the outside one could read "if you love animals, keep them wild. Preserveplanet.org". The  location chosen were on the same route used by drivers to enter and leave the city, one of the busiest in San José.

Results
The cages themselves became roadside attractions wharever they placed. Various blogs, newspaper and tv programs took it upon themselves to broadcast throughout the country that there were trapped animals along the highway and to explain the reason why they were there.
