The Rennsteig is an ancient trail that runs for about 170km through the Thuringian Forest in Germany. It has the most beautiful forests that you can hike through. Finding paths to stunning outlooks all along the trail. You can get lost in it for hours and hours. And when it is all wrapped in a thick fog, it transforms into a fairytale landscape. 

This is where I grew up and I miss it deeply. There are many breathtaking places all over the world but nothing makes you feel so deeply happy and at home as your "Heimat".
