For the 2012 French elections, at a time where people started running away from tv to get informed more and more on social media, Canal Plus wanted to bring the very traditional exercise of National Elections TV coverage to a more modern level.
This lead us to create a bridge between TV and Social, by creating a dedicated app, allowing TV viewers to react in real time to the debates broadcasted by the channel. Curated public reactions spiced up the debates, as they were used as a live feedback to the candidates.
The idea was to bring back the citizen in the heart of the debate, and to give him the voice and weight he deserved.
