A friend in Massachusetts asked for an event logo for their local chapter of Relay For Life. Their theme was "Superheroes", for the people who step up to fight cancer are certainly heroes. 

I was given one day's notice to create this event logo. The word "Life" kept looking like it was from a cereal box, but it needed to be a boldface type. After researching over 20 typefaces, I chose this sketch-filled one. To evoke the power of superheroes, I gave it an energetic boost.
