A shirt design for the College Of Lake County Social Action Club's World Record Day
This shirt was a pro-bono freelance project designed for an event put on by a club at the College Of Lake County, the Social Action Club. It's mission is to raise money for different social issues and bring light on those issues. For this, they created an event, in conjunction and sponsored by Record Setter, that would benefit the a local organization for victims of sexual abuse.
The shirt is designed with a stopwatch with the earth in the middle. I feel the stopwatch is a perfect representation of setting records since most records are about time. Incorporating the earth represents the global competition they would be participating in which comes with setting world records and goes well with the title of the event. I kept everything simple as I did not want anything to be distracting on the day of the event.
The shirts were printed and donated by the wonderful people at American Outfitters Ltd in Waukegan, IL.
