Captain Clay (Alfredo)

Captain Clay (aka Alfredo) is my very first attempt to design a character in a typical clay-motion style.
Alfredo was one of my oldest creation and I thought he would be the perfect candidate to start play with.
Since I'm working mostly on illustrated-like characters and ambientations, I'm not so much familiar with anything which aims to be (sorta of) photorealistic at all and the making of Captian Clay was such a challenging goal to reach.
After 10 days of modelling and texturing this is the final render made with Blender (Cycles) with some post production in Photoshop.

The pictures below is a more simple test-rander of the same scene made with a all flat-white material.
Finally we have 2 image of Alfredo and his guitar with no background and any post production at all.
