Jessica Hische Inspired Design Campaign
Course: Foundations of Graphic Design
This campaign includes 3 individual projects that showcase Jessica Hische's design style and aesthetic. Through the creation of a book cover, monogram and collage, I have used some of Hische's original work mixed with my own to create a mixture of lettering and illustrative design art.
The Original Jessica Hische
This project focuses on the intense work ethic of Jessica Hische and is inspired by her "I like my desk messy and my whisk(e)y neat" poster.
Monogram
For the monogram I wanted to focus on Jessica Hische's elegant, classy style and personality; therefore, I implemented a champagne bubble design element and then used interactive letter forms to honor Hische's expertise in lettering.
Photo Collage
In this assignment I was required to create a collage in Adobe Photoshop using designs by Jessica Hische and atmospheric imagery that was representative of Hische's style/personality.
