When I first saw these flickering lights I thought my grandfather wanted to speak to me.
Then, that it was Tesla himself.
The good spirits of electricity nested in nature.
The river nourished and embraced them.
This sacred place is a constant reminder of how we should treat nature and in the same time implement technology.

"The first Serbian hydroelectric power plant built in the town of Užice started operating in 1900, only four years after the hydroelectric power plant in Niagara Falls. Also, this is the first hydroelectric power plant in the Balkans based on Tesla’s principles of polyphase alternating current. It was built for the local weaving factory. The initiator of the polyphase alternating current application was a friend of Tesla’s, Djordje M. Stanojević, professor of physics at the Great School (later Belgrade University)."
