With this App i wanted to create a social and informative platform for my hometown Passau where people can find each other as well as get in touch with the city by itself. You can find sites like "Food" or "Book" (in the messenger menu) where you can exchange books or give away left over food, when you are on holiday. This should help to built up a regional company of people helping each other.

Main topic of the design and content is the water. Passau has 3 rivers, wich meet in exactly one spot. That makes it beautiful and dangerous at one. We have a lot of floodings wich affect people livening there, as well as tourist or students. That's why i put the information about the water gauge directly on the Homescreen. In case of such an event, you can connect via the App to get some information and see who needs help and where you can go or not. Also, there are some historical information about the last flooding as well as pictures and interaktive maps, to see what happened. With lokal Photographers adding their own pictures to the server of the app and the social media hub with (#Passau) instagram and Facebook, the app always gets the lastest content.
