The Beauty From The East
Exploring the Cambridgeshire countryside after sunset during the snowstorm that hit the UK in late February Early March of 2018. Nicknamed #thebeastfromtheeast, we don't get snow that often around here so it was a real pleasure to be able to make the most of it when it did hit.
I wanted to keep the images dark and atmospheric, using a high iso setting on the camera, alongside the bright white reflections from the snow, to explore shooting at a time which was normally reserved for tripods and more powerful cameras.
