For the most part of our lives a daily routine without digital content is hardly conceivable. Mobile gadgets and the constant connectivity to the net are already deeply imbeded in our thoughts and actions – once we opened that door there was no way back. Instead of wholeheartedly resisting the new media why not embrace it in our lives and with our children? Or would that be the end of us all? Mindset - Der Mensch im Zeitalter der Digitalisierung is an attempt to try to answer both those questions.

For my bachelor thesis I chose a sophisticated approach to designing the layout by splitting up the books structure and making use of playful typography and graphical information. The reader is guided through a kind of dual narrative about the pros and cons of the digital media.

The book is bound by a custom type of long stitching supported by copper plating and the cover features a silkscreen print with copper acrylic paint.
