The Bladder Bottle

Brief

Design and develop a product, system or business model for Fast Moving Consumer Goods based on principles of circular design.
Research

Existing packaging analysis and the measurement of personal milk bottle packaging consumption revealed areas of opportunity:

     - Excessive packaging.
     - Ergonomic difficulties.
     - Inefficient system use.
Design Development

I compared the weight and ergonomics of each of my concepts to existing milk bottle packaging.

I reduced the packaging weight in each concept evolution to eliminate excess.

I explored how my designs could work in conjunction with a supermarket refill system to maximise material efficiency.
Design Solution

A dematerialised and easy to clean milk bottle, which combines with a supermarket refill system, to reduce plastic consumption.
