This book changed the way I perceived art and the symbolism imbedded in all of our creative pursuits. It is all about how the subconscious mind communicates solely in repeating motifs, images, and symbols, which are then expressed visually or through story-telling. The subconscious mind is hard to study, and still somewhat of a pseudo-science, but it's expression can no doubt be seen all around us.
