I observed at my university that many students sat on the floor, leaning against the walls.
I designed Tilt in order to provide comfortable seating inside the university halls as well as in outdoor spaces, under the arcades.
Little research on timber joinery and the possibility of constructing furniture without glue, nails or screw. Tilt has been designed without any fixings. It is is easy to assemble, light, flat packed, and easy to dismantle. Interlocking joints hold the furniture together. Tilt spans between wall and floor, creating a place in between. You can use it as a seat, to tilt and move the top to use it as a tableTilt is a versatile response to my environment.
