Sremcica multifamily habitation development
Multifamily habitation project in Belgrade’s suburbia called Sremcica, continues previously conducted research of new models of living that considered single family habitation. It deepens and widens it’s goals and conceptualization of living in accordance with nature, talking it on a whole other level. It is based on Philippe Rahm’s theory of the “Gulf stream” and colonization of temperature flows instead of flat surfaces. It also involves:
- Technical solution of a natural source of energy (passive systems) and natural tools for controlling the energy flows;
- Creating of an applicable and standard model that is easy to control and multiply in big social housing developments;
- Manipulation of household orientation and creation of different microclimate zones on the greater scale as well ( Sean Lally and urban microclimatic theories).
