Exploring 3D pen - lettering
Topic: Gift decoration for a friend who was getting married.
Process: After a quick exploration and sketching of ideas on paper, I have built a couple of "prototypes" in different styles. I have used a 3D pen and PLA (polylactic acid - a kind of plastic used for 3D printing) in different colors.
You can see photos of the final outcome and also some steps during the development process. As you can imagine, this was quite an unusual decoration - and I had a lot of fun creating it!
I am just starting to explore this technique. What is particularly exciting, is to be able to build 3-dimensional objects. Please let me know if you have any questions related to the technique. Thank you!
