York Central Hospital is a medical facility serving the community of Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. In 2010 YCH commissioned Day Communications to create a recruitment brochure targeting Nurses and Medical Technicians. In my role as Art Director at Day Communications I was tasked with designing the recruitment brochure for YCH.
In 2010 the job market for Nurses and Medical Technicians in Ontario was very competitive. YCH wanted a unique brochure that would stand out amongst the others that potential candidates would be receiving from competitors. In collaboration with the Project Manager, Copy Writer, and Production Manager I devised a unique brochure fold and typography treatment complimented by bold use of the established YCH colour palette. The brochure was well received by the client and helped them to meet their recruitment needs that year.
