In this series I looked to experiment with a design trend I've noticed of late which is integrating text and objects within compositions.
As always with various design series that I create I maintained a consistent base for each clubs wallpaper, which was a tall, bold use of text (Reckoner Bold) integrated with the full-body cutouts of players provided by FootyRenders.com, which integrated smoothly into the formation of each letter.
To add depth, each letter features a shadow scaled to the width of each player and adjusted to how their body position would affect the size of the shadow if the light source was directly above them. Subtle dust textures and forward-facing reflection emphasise this effect -along with the badge or a motif of each club and their stadium in the background. Finally I added a subtle glow around each letter and colour correcting to match each player.
