Aphrodite Project: Platforms was an Artist in Residence project at Eyebeam. The artist Norene Leddy and I discussed the project and decided to allow the content of the project to dictate the context. Working with the theme of duality, I created graphical elements and mirrored them as often as possible. I created a site map and wireframe to better organize the content and used it as an outline when creating the site. The site is hand coded using a table-less layout, each section is commented and the interior pages utilize php includes to reuse repeated design elements.
