Maternity Private Clinic
Brand Identity 2015 –
I received the request in the summer of 2015, in June. I had never designed a visual identity for a private hospital before, let alone for a gynaecology hospital. At that time, nobody but my wife and I knew that she was expecting – we were planning to announce it to our family and friends that day –, so it was quite a coincidence that they asked a quotation from me. Fate could not have arranged it better.

I decided to accept the assignment and we decided that since things had turned out this way, our baby would be born there. We were in the hands of professionals, and I could be a part of prenatal care from the first ultrasound through the examinations and treatments to the delivery. My son was born on 23 December, and of course I was there – to create an identity that can be used effectively, a designer must be familiar with every aspect of the place, right? :) We, the three of us, spent Christmas in the hospital in a truly first-class environment.

This was one of the strangest periods of my life, especially those couple of days, and as my son was born, the new logo and identity of the hospital was also created, and since then, the new outpatient clinic has also been completed with a new interior design and a new information system.

I would like to thank the management of the hospital again for their trust, and our doctor and all her colleagues for their professional and devoted work – I hope they will also like the new identity.
