Here i have collected some primary and secondary research about the brand Castrol, ive also looked into human centered design at how the packaging could be improved to aid those with arthiritis and parkinson.

Here I have created a range of different sketches and CAD models to test out different shapes in terms of ergonomics. This design development helped me proceed on to my final design concept for the new Castrol Oil packaging.

I collected some research and inspiration form existing products like the "goon bag," and different types of pouring mechanisms, from which i incorporated within my design development stages. I then analysed how the product could be manufactured and taken apart for it to be sustainable as shown within my research pages.

I created the Castrol oil packaging for a 5L bottle out of corregated cardboard, just like it would look if it was produced in the industry, i placed some graphics on the side of the packaging using the colour scheme of green and red.
