Identità visiva per un ipotetico evento dedicato alle sperimentazioni tipografiche con lo scanner. Affrontare il tema dell'effetto xerox, cioè l’estetica legata alla fotocopiatrice, significa parlare delle distorsioni e degli effetti casuali o intenzionali che si possono generare durante la fase di esposizione. In un contesto come quello attuale in cui il linguaggio grafico si caratterizza per una contaminazione tra tecniche analogiche e digitali, lo scanner è uno strumento che riesce a unire questi due mondi fondendo le premesse e gli stilemi della fotocopiatrice con la flessibilità del linguaggio digitale.
The aim of the thesis is to tell the secret story of an unexpected tool in terms of creativity: the copy machine.
Considering the current context, where the graphic language is characterized by the contamination between analog and digital techniques, the scanner is a tool that can combine them by merging the premises and stylistic features of the copy machine with the flexibility of the digital language. The scanner itself is going to be the protagonist of this project along with typefaces that will be deformed and will merge into a ‘choreography of the creative error’.
