El nombre proviene del idioma francés. Como adjetivo, “pret” significa listo, disponible o conveniente; como sustantivo, significa préstamo o crédito. El pictograma que acompaña al logotipo es una abstracción de la letra P, presentado con movimiento y una paleta de colores vibrante. Era importante que la marca comunicara confiabilidad pero accesibilidad a la vez; es por eso que se optó por utilizar formas geométricas sencillas y mucha limpieza. Muchos de los esfuerzos y servicios de Pret se concentran en el campo digital, lo cual permite a la marca experimentar con degradados y colores cambiantes.

For the pictogram preceding the word, an abstraction of the letter P was created, using a color palette that feels free moving and bright.
It was important that the brand communicated reliability and accessibility at the same time; that's why we chose to use simple geometric shapes and a neat visual aspect. Many of Pret's marketing efforts and services are displayed digitally, which allows the brand to experiment with gradients and changing colors.
