A salty spell
The word ‘Alisahne’ is derived from the words alos + ahne, first used in Homer’s - Odyssey and Iliad epic poems. The word actually describes a brief spraying of a sea-generated cloud in the air by the striking of a wave in the rocks. In a second reading it describes the fine salt rime that the sea leaves in the cavities of the rocks from the evaporation of water.
‘Alisahne’ beach & swimwear collections are a mixture of special design features, exquisite fabrics and handmade elements that make up a high aesthetic result. For the brands’ identity, we created a series of organic motifs that carry out the sense of the liquid element. We chose to use transparent materials in order to achieve sight stimulation and an airy sense throughout.
