A loveĀ letter to Porto
ā€“

So yeah, I love this city. I've been visiting Porto (& Portugal)Ā regularly for a couple of years now. Every time I visit I fantasize with living there. On March 2018 I decided to go live in Porto for a month. This project is what came out of it. A collection of six illustrations of my fav places. Some kind of love letter to the infinite stairs, the bridges, theĀ azulejos and the amazing attention to detail always present in this beautiful northern city.

Printed on Favini Twill 300g/m2 paper.
Rua Santa Catarina isĀ yet another uphill (or downhill if you are an optimist) street
that serves as the center point for all things commercial in Porto.
Majestic CafƩ / Casa Cerdeira / Rua Santa Catarina
Seven. That's the number of bridges that cross
the Douro river. Although by far the most famous is Ponte de D. LuĆs.
Cais da Estiva / Farol de Felgueiras / Ponte de D. Luis
"Portocale". A bespoke typeface designed for the project
Starting from the river, impressive buildings (and uphills)
will take you through Rua das Flores to SĆ£o BentoĀ station.
Surf, beaches and the second biggest port in Portugal.
Matosinhos is the chillest of all chill.
Praia de Matosinhos / Terminal de Cruzeiros de LeixƵes / Cruise ship inĀ Port of LeixƵes
If you've heard of Porto wine you've heard of Vila Nova de Gaia (or simply Gaia, as the locals call it).
All the famousĀ wineries are here ā€“ just across the river from downtown Porto.
This huge avenue connects Porto to the Atlantic Ocean. Amazing architecture and gardens
can be found on both sides of this super long stretch of road.
Vehicles of Porto.Ā Peugeot 306 Cabriolet / Lancia Fulvia / Vespa PK / BMW Z3 CoupĆ©
Tram / Smart Fortwo / Alfa Romeo GTV / VW Golf GTi / Renault Avantime
Siemens light railĀ / Jaguar XJS / Mini 1000 / Alfa Romeo Spider / Piaggio Ape
