Hyperloop - Bratislava Gate

Hyperloop Station in Bratislava, Slovakia

Our Hyperloop Station proposal is located in Bratislava in the old Dynamite factory, which besides fair accessibility within the city, connects different types of transport infrastructures. The result shall be a conversion of brownfield to the vivid city, followed by the economic boost.

We reuse the existing railway infrastructure, with pylons placed in parallel. Capsules carrying the passengers are placed fifteen meters above the ground level. As for the urban structure, we connect Vajnorská and Račianská streets, renew the existing buildings and create new Alfred Nobel’s Technical Museum.

Visual character of new station building connecting Hyperloop with Miniloop (which is a transition point for Maglev system) is building upon the existing industrial character of the location, blending new and old.

Since there is no track of previous resident functions yet, we retain the chance for more adjustments to be made in the following years, according to the future needs. Therefore deep-rooted grid of higher buildings is complemented by the ones with fewer levels, designed in modular system offering more variety for future modifications. New development creates urban structure that is easy to understand, and with its volumetric solution calms down the rush which happens to be a common issue with these types of typological forms.
