This idea of the sculpture comes from a piece of swatch which is a painting of master. The background(the gallery) is a painting of mine, and the two planets- the earth and the sun are two balls without any patterns, then I also paint and let them looks like the really planet. You can see the swatch in the center of the picture, that's what I try to do, like use colors to match the swatch. By the way, because this is a sculpture, I use straws to support the planets that can illustrate different images in different angle viewing.
