Moscow Operetta Theatre Logo

Task. Create a logo for the Moscow Operetta Theater.
Condition. The customer wants to see the logo stylization of the facade of the building.

Idea of logo: simplification, creating a flat logo with emphasis on the facade of the Operetta Theatre combined with the elegant font of the composition, hinting at Theatre essence.
Moscow Operetta Theater opened as a state on November 24, 1927 — this day is officially considered the founding date of the theater. In 1988 the theatre received the status of academic theatre.
The auditorium is designed for 1600 seats and includes a parter, a benoir lodges, an amphitheater, a beletage and a beletage lodges, balconies and lodges of the 1st and 2nd tiers, but some lodges are occupied with lighting equipment, and the balcony of the 2nd tier is not operated.
The hall is decorated in Burgundy and gold tones, equipped with modern lighting and sound equipment. The plafon of the auditorium is painted by the artist Konstantin Korovin and represents located on a circle of 12 portraits of Russian and foreign composers: Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mozart, Rubinstein, Dargomyzhsky, Bizet, Musorgsky, Verdi, Borodin, Wagner. The names of these composers are not associated with the operetta or musical, since the painting of the plafond was done before the building was handed over to the troupe of the Moscow operetta theater.
The first performance of the theater is" playing with the Joker " (music by M. Bagrinovsky, production by R. Simonov and G. Yaron). One of the first productions — operetta "Grooms" Isaac Dunaevsky — the first success of the theater.
The most significant productions of the first season — "the Golden valley", "the Son of a clown", "White acacia" Dunayevsky, I. O., "the Bondmaid" by N. M. Strelnikova, "Kiss Chanity", "Maiden commotion" U. S. Milutin; "the Merry widow" F. Lehar, "die Fledermaus" J. Strauss, "Violet of Montmartre" I. Kalman.
Among the performances of the theater such famous musicals as Metro (1999), Notre-Dame de Paris (2002), Romeo and Juliet (2004), Monte Cristo (2008), Hello, Dolly! John. Hermana (2009), Count Orlov (2012), My beautiful lady, Anna Karenina (musical, 2016).
