With the 2019 Roadster BMW added a stunning i-opener to their hybrid fleet. Jeff Ludes got assigned to capture the new i8 convertible and its coupé sibling in and around the city of Madrid.
In reality, only the coupé was available on set and consequently for half of the images the entire top of the car, as well as rims and paint colour had to be transformed into the Roadster via CGI.
Stuttgart post artist Jonas Disch was present during this top secret shoot to preassemble elements and establish the mood for this striking campaign. Head to our website to see more.
