Task: to show Horodetsky in everyday life. Before beginning of the work, sculptor (author) studied Kyiv History Museum archive. The compositional plot is built on Horodetsky's habit to visit the arcade during his life in Kyiv and drink coffee there. The sculpture was designed so that the viewer could sit next to the figure. There is a book on the table "In the jungles of Africa. The Dairy of a Hunter", written by Horodetsky. The book is made in original binding of the first edition, the proportions are saved.
The sculpture was made using three archive photos. The creation took five months, from December 2003 to May 2004.
Horodetsky's hands were fashioned on the basis of the sculptor hands.
Furniture made in viennese style, clothes in tradition of early 20th century.
