This brewery, originally located in central Pennsylvania, was looking to expand its concept into Philadelphia. With an overriding goal of keeping cost down while still using union work was an interesting exercise in construction management. This micro brewery wanted a space to test brewing small batches of unique beer in a visible lab setting. Located in another project, 990 Spring Garden, we had already remodeled the entire fist floor of the building and were currently working on the offices on the upper floors. We strived to create a worn and warm environment that would pair nicely to the music venue next door. We maximized the seating in this space, while still creating ample space to brew enough beer to stock the restaurant. Equipped with a small kitchen, we created this brewing company’s fist steps to a major presence in Philadelphia.
