Description: The Oriel bed is a minimalist kingsize platform bed. The bed is made from a large Lemon-scented Gum tree which the client cut down in his front yard in inner city Brisbane as the tree was leaning into his house. The client had the tree milled and left the timber to dry under his house until he was ready to have it made into a bespoke piece of furniture. The bed is named after the road it spent it's life overlooking.
