Women in Design is a university wide community that I have been privileged to found with faculty members and students within the department of design at BYU. Women in Design is a community that aims to bridge the gap between student designers and working professionals in the creative field. WID also strives to counter existing gender bias in workplace by starting with awareness and intentionally inclusive efforts in the classroom.
