With its very low rents and unusual architecture, the "Kant-houses" in the south of Leipzig/Germany were home to both families and alternative subculture. They are subject to a costly renovation in the near future. The images show inhabitants in their flats that soon will have to move out. 'Kantstrasse' won 3rd price at the international Fine Art Photography Awards in July 2015. It got selected in the "People" category among over 3000 participants from 77 countries.
