In this project, each student designed a fractal then duplicated it into three different sizes (totally 99 pieces) and eventually combined them together to make an installation. This is a task, where students have to explore the relationship between positive space and negative space.
I designed a fractal that contains two squares with a triangle shape connector connecting the them. One of the square will be bigger than the other one. Each square contains its own negative space and I decided to use the triangle connector as the line to form the negative space in the air.
