This piece is a bit of old and new.  It is based off a study I did off a live model, as are a number of pieces in my portfolio.  What is new is the use of Leonardo, a digital painting software, to build off the original piece, rather than destructively working on top of the original work as I have done in the past.  I had not been a fan of digital painting in the past, as I never got the hand of Photoshop for the task, but this was an enjoyable experience that I look forward to trying again, particularly given the less than ideal studio space (ie none) that I have on hand.
