Selenium is the city of the future. 

This project stemmed from a student assignment for a travel brochure to a destination of our choice. I had been thinking about what the future will be really like - would the culture be shifted, would I recognize it?

I wanted the brochure to feel "Future Deco". Taking Art Deco themes and putting them into a modern context. I imagined a vibrant colorful future.

I wanted imagery to be the main focus.

The goal of this spread was to create a cinematic cityscape that invoked a romantic essence. The difficulty with creating this was getting the perspective and mood. After several versions I was finally able settle on something I was pleased with.

The aquarium is described as being as tall as a skyscraper, allowing the environment to truly reflect the real world. I imagined touch screen glass to help viewers wherever they were understand what they were seeing.

Another destination in Selenium is Dreamscape. A simulator where anything is possible. This is the 21st Century simulator - which was fully backed by science.

The last location was the exploration simulator. I always wondered what it would be like to explore a new, uncharted land.
