For a typography course we were asked to design a branding for an imaginary book publisher; Composed of a logotype, a biography series, revolving Hebrew creators, and an iPad catalog.
"Ash-nav" is the name of the publisher I created, translating to 'window', representing a publishing house specializing in first translations into Hebrew. The typographic banding revolves on 'Palestina' and 'Almoni Tzar' typefaces (both on student licenses).

The logotype presents a custom ligature of the Hebrew A and S (two right letters). To continue the flow of spaces in-between the letters, the succeeding N and B were manipulated as well.
The book outer-covers, stating the biography series name, are hand cut to see the inned-cover, stating the specific title, author etc.
The online catalog follows the clean line defined by the book design. Both the text and the background colors aren't pure colors in order to give a more pleasant reading experience. To maximize the medium, in-page interaction is scroll based (vertical and horizontal).
