Creating and managing a fashion platform

Flashme.ro  - owning and developing a collaborative online project
where we created visual content from ideas.
I started a platform focusing on the stories behind the flash, that developed into a playground for young creative artists who created content.
It turned out to be the best thing I ever started.
It gave me the opportunity to grow and grow others next to me.
I had the occasion to form diverse teams and play different roles.
I had my dream job, doing so many different ones and challenging myself with every idea.
I gathered inspiring people around, came up with ideas, searched for partners, clients, photographers, models, hair and make-up artists, designers, spaces.
I did some styling, was an assistant for photographers, dressed and undressed several models, fixed hair, carried lots and lots of bags and all kind of equipments.
Planned and organised all the photoshoots, events - was persuasive enough to talk in people who were not open to doing things differently.
Solved last minute crises with models who couldn't make it and replace them, with make-up artists who were late, reorganising teams when people didn't get along or wouldn't function as wished.
Making the most of natural conditions and holding tight to schedules in order to be as efficient as possible with lending clothes, renting spaces, and having people who could only stay for an exact amount of time.
SELECTING
1. The photographer - working for the first time with someone and then becoming good friends and knowing their style, was like solving a puzzle. Having one piece and finding the other good fits in order to have a great shoot.
The clients, the collaborators, the people involved. It was so great to have awesome girls by my side who where in charge of the hair and the make-up, or recommend other stylists for the jobs.
2. Then, there was the model, or the mixing of 2-3 or even 6 models for one shoot, with 2 photographers and a team of 17 people total. Scouting for the perfect smile, body, or hair was always super fun. If she or he wasn't a model the challenge was even bigger and the results spectacular. Starting to use bloggers and influencers before this big wave was such a nice exercise and I'm glad that my project brought together most of the girls, that are still doing a great job and became friends.
3. Designers, clients
Finding amazingly talented people and helping them promote their work, plus learning a lot from them, developing creativity.
Finding clients and convince them to produce their own advertising.
Stress and adrenaline? Yes, please!
Results? Amazing!
Loved the moments after downloading the big patches of transferred photos and picking up the final ones with a paper and a pencil and the number of the picture.
Releasing it and sharing it online was the best feeling of accomplishment when also reading all those positive reviews and comments.

All these activities translated also in events - in 2 clothes swap events, in many editions of FlashShops - a fair where clothes and accessoires belonging to models, bloggers were sold, in 2 events focusing on changing the style of winner girls and workshops - Chat'elier,
in festival fashion photo shoots at huge music and film festivals in Cluj-Napoca, and HotspotFashion - an event focusing on fashion ecommerce, 2 editions, gathering more than 300 participants, with national and international speakers.
It also helped me getting to know most of the amazing people in the fashion and beauty industry, get involved in the UAD Gala, get to know people from glossy magazines, take part at real magazine photo shoots,
