Animated logotype for Ångmaskinen (The Steam Engine); a band who plays with well-known Swedish musicians Ebba Forsberg, Staffan Hellstrand and Jack Vreeswijk among others. Their band name means The Steam Engine as they are all veterans in the music industry and see themselves as a well-oiled machine that is as reliable as an old steam locomotive.

I draw the letters, inspired by old signs on Swedish locomotives. The animation of the letter Å symbolizes the smoke coming out of a train’s chimney.
