. . . it is about binary opposition and hierarchy, thought and language gamble on the image. It is about the expressive and Indicative signs

Naturally occurring signs like the falling of leaves might signify the autumn, but leaves don’t harbor intent. Appearance of playing cards might signify the game or card readings, but don’t harbor intent (only). In addition to the intent there might be expression. Only if we dare to quite the stereotype of our expectation some new intent might be animated as expression.

The signs of playing cards from the regular set of playing cards are both indicative and expressive. The possible intent harbored by the sign of each card is strictly restricted to rules of the game. Looks like the signs of the playing cards are mostly indicative signs. The intent comes form the player and the dynamic of the game. Deconstructing playing cards in the spirit of Jacques Derrida is like to increase the expressive nature of the sign and prove the relativism of the indication and order. There are doors of perception on the walls (rules) of perception. Disjunction of the indicative sign is disjunction of the wall and rule it is like shifting from indication to expression.
