DjjD - Divergence
Album artwork & CD packaging creation for independent electronic musician DjjD.
Taking inspiration from the biggest electronic producers to classical composers, DjjD is an independent musician creating electronic music with an 8-bit twist. Looking for something strong and striking to accompany his album, a central theme was chosen centring around the release title 'Divergence' and the idea of a rifting creating a release of energy.
The final cover features strong colours and abstract shapes moving away from themselves and pulling apart. The implication of motion was used throughout the packaging design to further emphasise the central theme as well as encapsulating the dynamic energy of the music itself.
