MOONSTONE
Source of inspiration: Moon
The dress depicts the moods n majesty of the moon during dark midnight hours when the whole sky and earth remains glittered with the alluring light of the moon. The dress has been designed and crafted by me during
" Environment Productivity Week" organized at our NIFT, Kangra centre.
The waste material like newspaper, aluminum foil, trash bag, broken glass pieces, black tape and bottle caps have been utilized in its preparation. The dull grey shade of newspaper mash have been used to give silver effect and the waste of aluminum foils add to its shine. The aluminum balls and broken glass with metal bottle caps give it an effect that the garment itself is a part of moon surface. the back of the jacket has an LED screen which continuously flashes "SAVE EARTH, SAVE ENVIRONMENT, SAVE LIFE"
