There are three paintings of van Gogh's Bedroom in Arles and some drawings, all from the same point of view; so, for this painting, I did not limit myself to turn the point of view of 180°, but I also advanced it in the middle of the bed. In fact we see the easel with the canvas and on the left a part of the bed in the foreground. The self-portrait hanging on the left wall was made in the same year, 1888, in Arles (grant me this tribute).
Even changing the point of view, I wanted to keep the same atmosphere of the original painting, which tells us about the soul of van Gogh...
