Intro
Craft beer has been a really big thing recently in my home town Durban. So a couple friends and I decided we should try it out. Being the graphic designer in the group I was obviously elected to design the logo and here it is.
The thought process behind the logo was firstly the name. Another Brew Co. is just a humorous play on the fact that at the time there were millions of these micro breweries poping up and we were just "Another" one. But I had fun coming up with the icon that you see makes up the primary focus of the logo. There is the shape of barley ( the grain used in the process of making beer) ontop of that you may see the large frothy head and that is of course what anyone desires in the a fresh crisp beer. The colour choice was inherent due to the colour of the beer we were wanting to make was a honey yellow in nature and that is what I wanted to convey in the logo.
