Dpt. Studio's profile

Project Obsidian

Autodesk represents many things for many people. Its software is used for engineering and architecture (Autocad), industrial design and manufacturing (Inventor), as well as for media and entertainment (Maya, Flame, 3ds Max). The constant is that these products are systematically used to create something.

Wanting to reposition itself as a design and creative company, Autodesk approached us to design and produce a scalable and extensible virtual museum, showcasing everything that its customers create with its products, from tiny objects like a watch to huge ones like an airplane.

The museum is highly scalable and modifiable by the client. New rooms and projects can be added easily using blocks and reusable elements, much like Legos.
